I am a proud new owner of...

A baby pumpkin!!! Yesterday, I went out into the garden and started watering my plants. Every time I go to water my plants, I creep down into the pumpkin patch and look under the big pumpkin leaves. Low and behold the glory of what I discovered.

I can not express how happy I am. This weekends plans will be to guard this baby with my life!

    Aww...Good luck with your pumpkin! :) A pumpkin grew accidentally in our yard once, I guess a seed blew in from somewhere!

    Congratulations! I successfully grew pumpkins in upstate New York as a li'l Undertaker but haven't even tried in Georgia.

    He died... just a few days later. I think my dog decided to give it a shower. I went out there that following Sat and cleaned up the garden, plant is still living and have more flowers so we will see if a new baby sprouts *fingers crossed*
